Tamara Nikolic is a freelance book illustrator and a painter interested in mystical, sacred, and occult realms of the human existence. Her art is surrealistic, often purposely naïve and disproportional, but surprisingly expressive . Her poetry is written in the similar manner; words twisted by the cosmic sounds to express the pain of immortal Love.
Tamara is a seeker after the true meaning of life. Her poems are like the sign-posts on the treacherous inner road of self discovery . Dressed in the red robe of Love, blinded with the Light in front of her, she tries to make sense of her feelings in the clash with alchemical processes of the heart. The need to take control over destiny is ever present. But every verse is yet another question mark in the questionnaire of life that has no end.
Besides painting and poetry, Tamara is a translator to and from Serbian into English language, as well as lover of Tarot and the author of the “Visionary Tarot” 78 card deck.

“Tamara Nikolic’s UNIVERSAL CULTURE VISIONARY TAROT DECK taps into the collective unconscious of all cultures. The monumental achievement of painting seventy-eight provocative images was borne out of Mrs. Nikolic’s drive to create and funnel the joy of life into her art. Like a good book you never want to end, she devoured each image and lesson of the Tarot. Light shines through even in the darker, more challenging steps of the Tarot. There is always hope. It is my great honor to write this Guide and the accompanying Book describing her astonishing work.”
